Built in a pioneering and original way from the encounter between art, digital media, and information systems, the work of artist and researcher Giselle Beiguelman has become a reference in contemporary art for its experimental use of technology as a critical, political, and poetic tool.
Power hierarchies and symbolic and social disputes are revealed in Beiguelman's projects in a manner that is as insightful as it is unexpected. Added to this are poetic counterpoints capable of generating new perspectives on our relationship with both the historical past and our survival in a dystopian future.
